A Full Day of Fun and Fellowship
Our yearly fall festival is one of our favorite yearly traditions! This year’s may be our biggest yet, and we have plenty of activities for the whole family. Everyone is welcome to come; whether you’re a church member or have never attended, you’re invited!
2nd Fundraising Yard Sale / 8a-2p
We’ve been hosting many fundraising events to raise money for Sarah Walker’s medical funds. Our first yard sale was such a success, we have a ton of items leftover. If you have any more donations, we will take them on Sundays and Wednesdays until the 24th.
We need people to help on the day before, October 23rd at 4pm, to help sort items. We also need help setting-up at 6am on the 24th, and cleaning up at 2pm. If you’re interested in volunteering, please let us know and we’ll get you plugged in.
Drive-Thru Goodie Grab / 2p-4p
Got a sweet tooth? Afraid that trick-or-treating will be cancelled in your neighborhood? Do we have a solution for you. We’ll be doing a drive-thru candy grab from 2-4. Come by and get some sweets!
Chili Cook-off and Pie Contest / 6p-8p
As a Baptist church, food is a de facto portion of any fellowship event. You don’t need to enter to enjoy some good food, but if you have cooking or baking talents there really are no losers (though maybe a winner). We’re asking people to bring sides aswell: salad, cornbread, biscuit, or toppings for the pie.
If you want to volunteer (and don’t have a culinary gift) we’ll always need help serving and cleaning up!
